I have been recently taken retirement after being Consultant in General and Respiratory Medicine for last 25 years at Darent Valley Hospital, Dartford and Queen Mary’s Hospital in Sidcup. I have previously been Clinical Director for Medicine.

I have interest in developing procedures and pathways for rapid and less invasive ways to diagnose Respiratory conditions. I am Chairman of Kent lung cancer network.

I frequently investigate and treat difficult to understand general symptoms like cough, shortage of breath and lack of energy etc.

I also have interest in education and training. I have been a member of Specialty training committee for respiratory medicine in Kent, Surrey and Sussex deanery. This committee oversees the training of doctors to become consultants.
