With over 25 years of experience as a Consultant in General and Respiratory Medicine, I offer patients a depth of expertise built through senior leadership and clinical innovation. Having transitioned from my long-standing NHS commitments at Darent Valley and Queen Mary’s Hospitals, I now dedicate my full focus to providing high-quality, personalized care through my private practice.

Comprehensive Respiratory Care

I provide expert assessment and management across the full spectrum of respiratory health, with particular specialization in:

• Asthma & Allergy Management: Tailored strategies for difficult-to-control airway diseases.

• COPD & Emphysema: Optimizing lung function and improving daily quality of life.

• Lung Cancer & Nodules: Rapid investigation, having previously served as Chairman of the Lung Cancer Group in Kent (TSSG). This including obtaining lung biopsies and lymphnode biopsies via Video Bronchoscopy, EBUS or CT guidance.

• Sleep Apnoea & Sleep Disorders: Diagnostic pathways for snoring and daytime fatigue.

• Bronchiectasis and frequent chest infections: Specialist care including High resolution CT of lungs, Sputum drainage and preventative antibiotics.

Investigating “Difficult-to-Understand” Symptoms

A significant portion of my practice involves helping patients who are struggling with vague or persistent symptoms that have yet to be diagnosed. I specialize in the investigation of:

• Unexplained Breathlessness: Determining whether the cause is cardiac, respiratory, or multi-factorial.

• Chronic Cough: Systematically identifying triggers for long-term respiratory irritation.

• Unexplained Fatigue: Investigating the link between low energy, oxygenation, and sleep quality.

Innovation in Diagnostics

I am a pioneer in less-invasive diagnostic techniques, having established the Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS) and Medical Thoracoscopy services at Darent Valley Hospital. This expertise allows me to offer patients the most advanced, rapid, and comfortable pathways to a definitive diagnosis.
